NUTRITAB® INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

NUTRITAB® is a fertiliser in a special tablet form. It is produced by inhibiting the ammonium form of nitrogen with DMPP. Phosphorus, potassium, secondary and micro-nutrient elements (as the slow release nitrogen source) are compressed into a convenient, easy-to-apply tablet. When the tablets are placed in the root zone, they slowly dissolve and nitrogen is gradually released by soil microbial activity. NUTRITAB® tablets provide a safe, nourishing, concise plant nutrition programme for trees, shrubs, container stock, and ground covers. It works equally well on new and established plants and trees and also patchy lawn repair. The tablets are small, easy to use and eliminate the need for repeated applications. NUTRITAB® is available in 2.5, 5, 10 and 21 grams.

THE APPLICATION OF THE TABLET NUTRITAB® FERTILISER IN TO FREE SOIL

NUTRITAB® tablets give notably accurate simple doses of nutrients. 4 - 5 NUTRITAB®® tablets (5 Gr) should be applied to each seedling (see Fig. 1). The distance of the tablets from the seedling stem corresponds to the perimeter of the seedling top projection on the soil surface. The tablets should not be placed closer than 15 cm from the seedling stem. The distance should not exceed the perimeter of the seedling top projection by more than 10 cm. Depending on the local climatic, soil and technical conditions, the NUTRITAB® tablets are either placed below the soil surface at the depth of the side roots at the edge of the planting hole, about 15 cm. from the seedling stem (Fig. 2), or they are put directly on to the soil surface. The tablets can alternatively be placed closely below the soil surface by stepping on them (Fig. 3). Root level application partially prevents undesirable co-fertilisation of weeds.

THE APPLICATION OF THE TABLET NUTRITAB® FERTILISER IN FLOWER POTS

Plantation Fertilisation: The tablets should be laid on a layer of soil under the root bundle (Fig. 4). If more tablets are applied, they should be placed evenly around the girth of the root system. Recommended application - one tablet (5 Gr. each) per gal - 4.5 litres of soil.

Supplemental Fertilisation: The tablets are to be placed evenly either on to the soil surface or just below the surface at a distance of 5 - 10 cm. from the plant stem (Fig. 5). Recommended application - one tablet (5 Gr. each) per gal - 4.5 litres of soil.

APPLICATION PERIOD OF THE TABLET NUTRITAB® FERTILISER

The tablet NUTRITAB® fertiliser should be applied during the spring and summer seasons., until the end of July. The fertilisers are successfully applied to the seedlings during the spring time in the year of plantation or in the following year. Depending on local conditions, the fertilisers should be applied at the latest in the Autumn, most suitable application time for open elds and outdoor plants is September/October. The application of the NUTRITAB® fertilisers during winter/snow is functionally inappropriate.
